Delete your account

Speech, operated by Rupees Venture Private Limited

You can remove your Speech account, and everything held for it, whenever you like. It happens straight away and it does not come back.

From inside the app, which is quickest

• Open Speech on Android.
• Go to Settings, then Account.
• Tap Delete account & data and confirm.

That signs you out and erases the account on our servers there and then.

If you cannot get to the app, write to support@rupees.com from the address the account is registered to, and we will delete the account and its data for you.

What goes

• The account itself, and your way of signing in to it.
• Every dictation transcript held for it.
• Every voice recording held for it.
• Your usage records.

None of it can be recovered afterwards. What may remain is anonymous, text-free aggregate counts that cannot be traced back to you. Backups, where they exist, clear on their ordinary rotation.

Our Privacy Policy covers how data is collected, used and kept, including Privacy Mode, where audio and transcripts are discarded the moment they are transcribed, and Standard mode, where transcripts are kept while your account exists and recordings are deleted after 60 days.
