Subprocessors

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These are the third parties that handle Speech customer data for us. This page is the authoritative list, and it is incorporated by reference into Annex 2 of our Data Processing Addendum. If you hold an agreement with us, we will tell you before a new subprocessor that touches your content is added.

The ones that see what you dictate

CompanyPurposeWhat it receivesWhere
Sarvam AISpeech to textYour audioIndia
OpenRouterModel routingPasses the request on to whichever model runs it. Depending on the path a dictation takes, that is Google, which may receive the audio itself, or Groq, which receives the transcribed text.United States
OpenAIText commands and rewritesThe selected text you asked to change. Never audio.United States

Privacy Mode does not take these providers out of the path, because transcribing is the product. What it changes is what survives: neither the audio nor the transcript is written to our database or our disks afterwards. Section 6 of the privacy policy sets that out.

The ones that keep the service running without seeing what you dictate

CompanyPurposeWhat it receivesWhere
Amazon Web ServicesHosting, database, backup storageEverything we store, as our infrastructure providerIndia (ap-south-1, Mumbai)
Zoho (ZeptoMail)Transactional emailYour email address and the sign-in code or service message being sentIndia
GoogleSign in with GoogleConfirms who you are and gives us your email address. Separate from Google's role as a model provider above.United States

Only if you connect them yourself

Optional integrations stay off until you connect one, and disconnecting deletes the access token we hold. Today that is Swiggy, for ordering in Agent Mode.

Where your data lives

Our servers, database and backups are in AWS ap-south-1 (Mumbai), India. We do not offer a region outside India today. Two of the model providers above run in the United States, so a dictation that takes those paths crosses a border for the seconds it takes to process. Nothing about it is kept there.
